I have a Leopard touch screen that controls X10 lighting in my house. I installed the system in 2000 and for the first few years all was well. Now after 13 years of service I notice that the controller forgets and I have to reinstall the exec and control program. Also I notice that some areas of the touch screen are less sensitive than others.

Is this common after 13 years of use? What options do I have in fixing this?

If the controller is "wearing out", can it be tested and have repairs made?

Yes you can send it in to be looked at. It's not "Common" but anything can break. You can send it to:
