I am getting ready to add a Leopard to my Ocelot, mainly to get touch screen spa controls, and was wondering, can I replace my alarm keypad as well?

Maybe a code entry screen that sets an Ocelot relay to set the alarm?

Yes, I could use a SECU and eliminate the alarm box, but for now I just want to eliminate one of my two keypads.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Todd

Yes, you could do that. You might be interested in seeing a code entry routine shown in the following thread:

You might also want to get fancy and put the keypad on a "hidden" screen. To do that, create a button on one of your menus with the button, then check the "hidden border" checkbox and put no caption or icon. This creates a completely invisible button (ie: a "hot spot") that you can use to change variable 63 and display the screen with the alarm keypad on it.

Hi,

I've tried to access the above location as I wish to do a similar thing i.e. create a keypad on Leopard II, however the location points to the old board which I am not registered on. Any ideas.

Here is the same thread on this board:

I'll also edit the link in the post before yours to avoid this link problem in the future.
