Good afternoon Folks,

I've been trying to add a line to my code without success.

( if time of day is > Sunset + 0 minutes )
( and Bobcat data #2 < 100
( then do this )

But for some reason when I select ( and - Compare Bobcat Data - Module #2 ) I do not get and additional option that would allows me to compare the data to.

Missing option in programming ?

Dom

If you want to test the data value, capture it to the work variable first, such as:

IF Bobcat data #2 < 256
THEN Load Data to Variable #99 (pick a variable)
ELSE Load Data to Variable #99

then...

IF Time of Day is > Sunset + 0 minutes
AND Variable #99 ...

Guy,

I have finally got a chance to come back with more information.

In the mean time what is the URL I need to use in order to include an image to my message.

You'll need to use a photo hosting site like photobucket to store your pic, and post the URL here.

Thanks Guy,

I have attached a screen, of my program, you will notice the lack of parameter, in the selection area.

What do you make of that, the same thing happens when I try and use an analog reading from my module one.

Thanks

Ah, it looks like you have not defined the Bobcat in your System Map. In C-Max go under Project --> System Map and right click on module #2, and add the Bobcat type (eg: light sensing bobcat = Bobcat-L). Then close the system map and try adding the line again. The System Map gets saved along with your program and other project files.

Thanks Guy,

That looks very interesting, that is also probably why I couldn't get my SECU16 to work.

I will keep you posted, my friend.,

Great! \:\)

Don't forget that you can also give names to all variables and timers in the System Map, making it much easier to read your programs. Same with module inputs and outputs. I keep the original designation in the name to make it easy to troubleshoot, for example:

"Variable #2" -> "V2 Kitchen Lights Stat"
"Timer #4" -> "T4 Alarm Delay"

etc

Thanks Guy,

As a matter of fact I do the same, otherwise I would forget from one time to another.

Bad memory.

Good evening Guy,

I was checking earlier, my program is not responding as it should.

Then I realized that my System Map, is not saving with my program.

Every time I open my program to perform some modifications, the System Map,is not there.

Any ideas.

You have to load the project. Make sure you save and open the project. It's the project that loads the system map.
