I was wondering.

I have a touch screen available and was thinking, can I use my OCELOT but program it as if it was a LEOPARD.

Question : Would it work.

How do you mean? You can program the Ocelot as a stand alone controller.

I would like my Ocelot to think it is a Leopard.

This way, I would have the benefit of having the graphic user interface of the Leopard.

The ocelot can be programmed as a stand alone controller to transmit and receive X10, IR, RS232 and discrete I/O (with the help of our Adicon I/O devices). How are you wanting to communicate with your touch screen? What kind of touch screen is it?

Right now the touch screen is connected to my computer, via the VGA and a USB port.

So naturally, the only way I could access to the graphic interface pf the Leopard / Ocelot would be through the computer.

The Ocelot would perform as stand alone like it is now, \nd if I wanted a touch screen graphic interface I would have to turn on my PC.

Well if you can write a program for your PC that can send serial strings when the touch screen is used, then you could do things like set a variable and then have the Ocelot do things when the variable changes. There is a published protocol to do things like that, read about it here:

You might want to try using the "old" protocol (scroll down to it in that link).
