been hacking around with cpuxad/xalib again. ive rewritten the serial code to be able to use either rs232 or the ftdi usb<->serial converter modules. digi-key has both usb-dongle and db9-styles of these modules, which allow transparent conversion of an ocelot to a usb capable device. the device access library from ftdi makes cpuxad a userspace program, no kernel code! please test: https://sourceforge.net/projects/cpuxad/

Hi Marky,

I wanted to experiment using linux and my ocelot. The goal is to connect to ocelot over a EPS1. My question is now whether I should first use a redirector for the serial port or can I directly use cpuxad to talk to the EPS1 ip address and port?

I appreciate your help,

Dirk
