We've been using SECU16's in a semi-industrial application (with supervised inputs) for some time now. We no longer need the output features of the SECU16's and I have some SECU16I's on hand. I'm assuming I can treat the SECU16I's as direct replacements for the SECU16's, sans outputs?

Also, from time to time, we have a module that either goes bad or needs to be re-addressed. Is there anyway to readdress a single adicon without having to re-address the whole lot? We're using 24 units spread out over a large facility. Thanks.

Yes. The inputs on the SECU16Is are also configurable for supervised inputs. The only real difference is the SECU16 inputs are individually configurable, where the SECU16I is configured in banks of 8.

To auto address a single module, connect that module to the Ocelot with no other modules connected. Launch the Auto Address in C-Max. After waiting about a minute, press the Skip button until it reads the correct module number that you want the module addressed to is displayed. Press the white button on the module. The screen reading "Looking for Module #" will increment. If you have modules addressed higher than the module you are addressing, press the Skip button until the highest module number you have is displayed. Then press Abort.
