Yes. I run it on my Windows 7, 64-bit computer at home.

I can't run the setup.exe in Windows 7 64bit that extracts from CmaxV200eEx308.exe file I just downloaded. Another post mentioned tweaking to get it to run but didn't say what they actually did. Error msg I got is in brief - Won't run on this system check with software suppler for 32 or 64 bit version. I did not get the 1409 error msg others have mentioned. Suggestions?? Different download available for Win7?

Are you running home or professional? Have you tried running as an administrator? I have Windows 7 64 bit on my laptop at home and have not run into this. Installed and ran without a hitch.

I am trying to get CMAX 2.0 to install on my new 64bit Windows 7 machine, and I get the same error about 32bit/64bit compatability issue. Is there some way to download a 64bit version?

I am having the same problem, Tired all the usual tricks; install as admin, even tried to set compatibility, held my tongue just right, you name it, it won't install.

I am thinking that some of you may have installed prior to some update that probably broke something. Anyone installed really recently?

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I just did all updates on my wife's computer (also a windows 7 computer, 64 bit) then installed C-Max and it went without a problem. What is the exact error you are getting?

Are you running the installation as an Administrator? Make sure you do.

Okay, I'm being dumb again! I've been running C-Max on my Windows 7x64 home premium machine for several years without problems. For some reason it disappeared so I'm trying to reinstall it. No matter what I trier do I get the error that it won't install on a 64 bit machine. I know it will because I've done it before but I can't get it to work now! I'm running as administrator with compatibility set to XP SP3. I've actually tried setting the compatibility other ways but nothing helps. What's happening?

I'm trying to install the latest version by the way if that matters.

What is the actual error message that you're getting?

The error I'm getting is:
"The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64 bit) version of the program and then contact the software publisher."

I've tried automatic compatibility settings as well as setting it manually to Windows XP SP3 and am trying to install it as an administrator. I've had it installed on this PC before but the installation got corrupted so I'm having to install again. To say that it's frustrating as a major understatement!

Are you getting this error on installation or when you try to run C-Max once it is installed? I'm reading this as you are getting this when running the installation. Have you tried rebooting from last known good configuration?

I'm getting the error while installing it. It's been a while since I used this software since everything is been working well so I can't go back to when it was last working well. I'm having to do a reinstall and I keep getting the error I mentioned above every time I tried to install. I even tried downloading version d a little while ago to see if that made a difference and it didn't. This is very frustrating!!

Pleas send me an e-mail (kevinbarrett@appdig.com). I will reply to it with a different install program. I just tested it on a Windows 7 Pro computer and it worked.

I created a new install using a different install program and e-mailed it to Msradell on Saturday and all worked. The new install is posted on the web site. If anyone has any questions or problems please drop an e-mail to me and let me know.
