Need momentary switch contact!

I need to control some Hunter Douglas PowerRise shades using their new Connection Interface for this product.
The raise and lower is actuated by the ground wire making momentary connection with either the "up" terminal or the "down" terminal. They show a momentary push button for each direction.
I want to do it with my Ocelot and a couple of the spare relay's on my Adicon Relay 8.
My question is how would you properly program a 1 second momentary close of the contact. I assume I would need to use two relays unless someone has a better idea.
Also, how would you assure that only one relay could be pulled in at a time. I don't know if it would be harmful to have both "make contact" at the same time, but it seems it should be avoided.
Any other ideas on doing this.
Thanks for the help.

Yes you would have to use two of the relays.
If (what ever event you want to use to trigger the blind) Then Module #1 -Relay08 Relay #0 Turn ON Then Timer #0 = 1 If Timer #0 = 2 Then Module #1 -Relay08 Relay #0 Turn OFF
Repeat this for the second relay for up and down.

To do an electrical Interlock. 1/ Connect The Up & Down to the N/O Contacts 2/ Connect the Commons together 3/ Connect the Supply to Both N/C contacts

Upon further review, there is a pulse parameter you can set in the RLY8XA. Set parameter 6 to a number other than 0 (up to 255) and the relay will close for whatever that value is multiplied by 13ms, then open automatically.
However, when setting this parameter, when the relay opens, it will not report the status of OFF back in C-Max. The status will still report ON, even though the relay is opened. If you don't care that the status constantly reads ON, then you can simply set parameter 6. The relay will automatically close then open every time you send an ON command to the RLY8XA, even if the status of the relay is still reported as ON. The relay will still pulse.
Keep in mind that every relay will pulse if you set parameter 6. If you are using other relays on the same RLY8XA for continuous closures, then you don't want to set parameter 6, as this will make all relays pulse. Just impliment it as I described above.

Yes, I use other relays for continuous closure. When closed, my blackout blinds are down, when open they go up, so this won't work. Different blinds than the PowerRise we have been talking about But, it's good to know about. Thanks.
I assume I can't get the relay to momentarily close for less than a second. The specs call for .1 second to 1 second, but no more than 1 second.

If you are using programming, no.
You could get a second RLY8XA and dedicate it to momentary contact closures.

Guy, I found out some information, and I believe it causes it to go into what Hunter calls Express Mode, which means it bypasses intermediate stops of the shade and goes clear up or clear down.
I don't use any intermediate stops, and want it to go clear up or clear down, so it my not be an issue for me at all. It might be for some other installation, so it's good to know about.
The new PowerRise is so new that even the fabrication guys don't know the answers, so knowledge moves slow.
BTW, I'm thinking Barry's suggestion above is workable and a good way to go. It ends up shorting both the UP and DOWN terminals together if two relays should pull in at once, but I'm thinking this is not a problem.
