Hello,
I have just few questions............ 8-) --- Well, maybe more than a few.
I purchased an Ocelot in January, 2000. I used it until December 2004 when I moved. Everything was packed up and in boxes. Recently, I went hunting for my Ocelot and found it. I was able to install the software onto my newer computer and it appears to be running, (sort of).
When it starts, it says, "ECS will revert to lite mode in 30 days". I do recall the authorization code for the program, but I cannot determine how to enter it.
I also cannot find a copy of my "program" running on the Ocelot on any computer I have. Is there a way to recover this and save it? I did have some hard disk crashes over the years.
My "User Manual" for the Ocelot is "ECS4.4.010" and the manual is dated 10/4/00.
It appears there is a newer version of software for this. Will the new version work with my Ocelot? Will I need a software update to the "roms" inside it? Will my "authorization code" work with the new software?

Guy Lavoie,
I attempted to install the C-Max software 2.0e.
I received the following message.
Error 1406. Could not write value VersionMinor to key \products\2DC91F----------------880FC6\InstallProperties.
I am the administrator for the computer and am logged in as an administrator.
Do you know what might be wrong?

You cannot use C-Max to retrieve the If-Then-Else code from the Ocelot. Guy Lavoie developed a utility to do this.
