I use my Ocelot extensively in my HVAC system and have just installed some new Static pressure sensors to my SECU-16 that use 0 to 5 volt signals..

they work great I can see the parameter 10 change and its accurate etc...

trouble is I cannot figure out how to set a variable to this parameter.. im Using Homeseer and it doesnt appear the Homeseer plugin for Ocelot supports module parameters.. just detecting if an input is turned on or off.. which does me NO GOOD......

how can I set a variable to be the value of a module parameter?

What you need to do is "test" the variable and follow that with a "Load Data to Variable" command, like this:

IF Module #1 SECU16 Input #1 is < 256 //always true...
THEN Load Data to Variable #1 //value captured to variable #1

this doesnt seem to give me what I need.. im looking for the value in Parameter 10 of the module 1.. all I get is a 255 from this value.. both in the debug variables and in the Homeseer program...

when I do a request module parameters parameter 10 on my SECU-16 updates as it should with the correct value related to the voltage on the input..

it is THAT value that I need to get and work with...

ok it shouldve been if module / point analog 0 is < 256
then load data to variable...

now it works great!!

My mistake! I was just suggesting something without having the program in front of me and I goofed. Sorry... ;\)

nor a problem, just wanted to point it out in case anyone else finds the issue.. I love forums but seems rarely does anyone ever come back and post what they did to get their problem fixed.. they just fix it and go on.... I never knew about the load data command..

I was looking for a then variable = module / parameter and of course it doesnt exist.. but this works great... as does my Ocelot.. I never have to touch the thing it just does what it does... 6 years ive had it now
