No strange messages. Installs, removes, and executes without artifacts. I've tested v1.70h, v1.70j, v2.00a, & v2.00d. --- The packages required are wine and wine-tools. My test platform is CentOS (the open distribution of RHEL - not the most bleeding edge distro out there :-) --- Don't forget .wine/dosdevices/com1 is a link to /dev/ttyS0 --- To create the symbolic link: In dosdevices issue "ln -s /dev/ttyS0 com1" --- Permissions: find the owner group of /dev/ttyS0 and add that group to your userid (enroll your userid in that group's permissions). --- Haven't used Hyper-V R2 much. I mostly use Xen for VM. Have fun dedicating the serial port to the VM "user domain" running C-Max. Wine is easier.
