Please forgive the newbie question. I am trying to load the data from a Bobcat Light into a variable on the Ocelot to be read by my
Home Automation Program.

First I mapped and renamed the modules, but I noticed that the mapping didn't stick. Module #3 is the Bobcat; Variable is a variable in the Ocelot.

The problem is that the variable never changes. I'm assuming that line #1 isn't doing anything. Any suggestions?

Thanks;

Don

 PHP:
IF Module #3 is < 256 THEN Load Data to: Variable #1 End Program

The way the "IF Module #3" is displayed, I can tell that the module is not defined in the system map. Go into Project -> System Map and define module #3 as type "BOBCAT-L". Also define the variable as you did earlier. To make it stick, save your project and then open the project (not the program) when you want to work on it.

Setting it as a Bobcat-L should fix it. Also, due to a problem with how C-Max interprets the Light sensing bobcat's data (it doesn't subtract 100), make the command:

IF Module #3 BOBCAT-L is < 356

Weird, I continue my tests during the weekend. At a certain moment I had 157 as value(complete darkness). But when I quit crontroller access and reconnect it showed a value again of 325.
I don't what to do now. The light bobcat is now the only module and it's connected directly to the ocelot. As already mentioned this is a brand new module. Can somebody give me some "real" values for complete darkness and at noon?

I appreciate your help

Complete darkness should give you a value close to 100, and full light close to 355.

Still looks like a bad module to me.
