Ocelot not receiving X10

I am having a problem with the Ocelot not receiving X-10 signals. I am testing in the CMAX X10-logger.
All connections are good
Problem goes away if I reload the previous executive file
Happens on two different Ocelots (I have a spare)
I've been neglecting the X10 system for a couple of years, so I don't know when I lost reception.

Firmware rev is 8.23/15. That's probably kind of old...
Application 3.01 receives well
Application 3.18 doesn't listen.

OK, this is still a bother. For the record, it stopped working altogether. Messing around reloading the executive reset my 9 bobcat and 3 I/O unit addressing, which is a major nuisance (advice: go slow on the reloading and resetting of the Ocelot if you have time invested in addressing a string of modules). That turned out to be the ancient interface cable, broken wire.
However, the latest executive (3.18) still does not send X10 over the serial link. I have switched out the USB serial interface for a different version. But my only workaround is to use 3.01.
Happens with two different ocelots.

Update.
Seems that 3.18 not reporting X10 over the serial link has happened to others.
I downgraded to 3.01, but my control software is having trouble with that - reports bad packets and hangs.
Found 3.08. Serial X10 works. Waiting to see if my control software can live with it.

I think Reporting x10 over the rs232 is enabled/disabled by param 15 in the ocelot. http://www.appdig.com/adicon/params.pdf

I just set up two Ocelots, both with ver 3.18 installed in them. Transmitted X10 with one while monotoring with the other using C-Max on a second computer.
Each X10 command that was transmitted from the one Ocelot was received and reported in the C-Max X10 log by the other, each time an X10 signal was transmitted.
What is your setup? What software are you using to monitor the X10? When the X10 signal is transmitted, does the X10 light flash on the Ocelot each time?

Thanks, Kevin. I have two ocelots, and have the problem on both of them. In both cases, I get X10 codes with 3.08 or 3.01. Neither reports X10 codes with 3.18.
Here's the test setup:
Windows 2008 server, 2009 AMD processor (so it is fairly quick)
USB to serial adapter (have tried two different types)
CPUXA 2.00E5
9 Bobcats + 3 secu/16 - chain works
X10 send works
Green light flashes on X10 receive but no codes reported
Remote TW523 equivalent OR
TW523 plugged into powerstrip next to a "button box"
Config #2 - as above but
TW523 plugged into powerstrip next to a "button box"
Lights flash on X10 receive
No X10 codes reported

What software are you using the monitor the X10? Also, does the X10 signal never come through or is it hit and miss?
Also, what firmware version is being reported in C-Max?

My main system is ECS.
But I use CMAX 2.005e for this testing.
The X10 signal never comes through. The green light flashes.
CMAX reports firmware 8.23/15 and application version 3.18
I reliably read X10 signals with 3.08 or 3.01

OK, found it.
I use the Oceloit as an interface only - no local program. 3.18 does not report X10 codes received without a program loaded.
The fix is to download a program with nothing but an end statement. Then, X10 will work as it should.
Kevin, thanks for your engagement: I figured this out as I was doing final tests before packing that spare unit up!
