My ocelot has apparently decided it no longer wants to send x-10. I have not changed anything in the system (2 years now)

I just started using x-10 modules again in a few areas and noticed my program not working. Went to monitor, and it shows the addresses turning on/off fine (program and via remote)

Closed the monitor, setup a appliance module to k1, sent k1/on and k1/off command pairs... nothing. Tried another module, nada. Tried x-10 remote via transceiver in same outlet as psc-05, module works.

Looked at "phone" cable, it is correct type. Multimeter end to end, pass. Ocelot blinks on send and receive, but not psc05 on send. So I bought a new psc-05. Same issue. Only thing left is the Ocelot.

Is there a chip to replace on the ocelot??

If the LED on the PSC-05 is not blinking off when the Ocelot is transmitting X10, then there seems to be a problem somewhere. Either a cable problem or the X10 signal getting absorbed on the power line. Have you tried plugging the PSC-05 into another circuit? The X10/IR PIC could have gone bad in the Ocelot, but this is very rare.

The cable has been tested with a meter

I ran the PSC-05 to just about every outlet in the house via 100' extension cord, no change

Put a module in the same outlet as the psc-05, no good

Brand new PSC-05, same issue

Any other ideas?

You could always try (with everything powered off) unplugging the PIC chip from the socket and reinserting it. The PIC is the long narrow chip with a label on it, near the center of the Ocelot's circuit board.
