I am having trouble sending serial commands in eventghost.
I don't know the format that the ocelot expects.
I would like to send a command to set say variable 18 to a 1.
and how do you figure the checksum. eventghost uses the format of \xab. what would you send in hyper terminal?

Here is a link to the serial protocol documents

http://www.appdigusers.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/15465#Post15465

Scroll down to the section titled "Old ASCII Protocol" and note the requirement for all the characters to be sent within milliseconds of each other.

For the protocol using checksums etc, the downloadable documents will explain how the checksum is calculated.
