I was over at the cocoontech.com website and I noticed that they had an article on interfacing the W800RF32 to the Elk Serial port and using ascii text messages to recognize events.

I was just wondering if this would be possible with the Ocelot or the serial Bobcat?

I don't see why not. Once you determine the ASCII string the X10 DNS 10A is transmitting using their decoder software, simply load these strings into an ASCII Bobcat (You must have sw ver 8 in the ASCII bobcat) and then you can set up a If-Then-Else code in C-Max to have the Ocelot act on a given string.

Thanks for the quick reply this opens up a new door.

I'm pretty sure it will come in handy to a few users.

Now all i have to do is get an ascii bobcat or get someone who owns a w800rf and a bobcat to give it a try.
