During the last two days I had to reload the executive to my ocelot 4 times.
This morning the ocelot was once again dead.
I had the same issue about 8 months ago and had to reprogram the Firmware and the all was good.
It is not reliable anymore and I'm really thinking of giving up.
I had it running with the Homeseer plugin to control my SECU16 I/O
the only thing I changed in the software is the addition of a appliance module to control the heater in the aquarium.
I'm not sure if homeseer is sending some roque serial command that cause the ocelot to loose its executive or its just a flaky unit.
PS: I'm not using the X10 interface or the IR on the ocelot and I only have the one SECU16 connected using the oem ac adapter that came with the ocelot.
Help!!
else I will be selling 2 secu16's and the Ocelot.

So you had an image of the entire flash chip, and used a flash programmer to make a new chip? As long as the new chip is the same part number, that should work. I have done that myself before. Asf ar as I know the parameters are held in flash, so you will need to set them to whatever you need.
