Can't identify jumpers on secu16i

I recently pickedup a secu16I, and I was having trouble with the inputs...they didn't seem to be changing states (I had magnetic reed switches hooked up to the inputs). I thought maybe the thing was setup for analog instead of digital inputs, so I set about checking the jumpers.
The diagram in the secu16i manual I downloaded from the site clearly showed the JP2 and JP1 jumpers, for setting inputs 1-8 and 9-16 between analog and digital.
However, as you can see, in my actual device, there are DEFINITELY no jumpers there.

I can find JP1, but it's a single jumper switch, so I have no idea what it controls.
Eventually, for some reason, the device started working right, so this is less of an issue...but I'd still like to know how to switch the input modes. Thanks!

This is the first run SECU16I. The ones made as of 1999 have the two jumpers, which is the data sheet you are looking at. This one (circa 1997) only has one jumper on it. I'm trying to find the documentaion for his SECU16I to see. I'll be in touch.

It looks like the first run SECU16I was supervised input only. Two things:
First, make sure you have a 1KOhm resistor across the common and the input you are using.
Second, open your relay. Then in C-Max click module utilities, retrieve module parameters. Record the values in parameter 2 and 3. Then observe the values stored in the parameters for the corrosonding inputs you are using, (parameter 10 for input 0, parameter 11 for input 1 and so on).
Then close the get module parameter windoow. Close the relays. The once again retrieve the parameters. The values stored in the parameters for the for the inputs you are using should change.
When the relay is open, the value stored in the corrospnding parameter for the unput you are using should fall between the values stored in parameters 2 and 3. The the relay is closed, the value stored in the corrosonding parameter for the input you are using should fall outside the values stored in parameter 2 and 3.
If this does not happen, change the values stored in parameters 2 or 3 until the above conditions are met. This will make the inputs change to on and off when your relay closes and opens.

Ooo, an original run piece! That'll be worth more in the future....
Thanks for tracking down the info.
I've got the 1k resistors across the inputs...and for some reason, whatever my problem was fixed itself.
I think before, the comm light on the secu16i was steady, and now it blinks really fast...so something finally worked itself out.
Do I still need to do the steps you indicated above, if my secu16 is now working?
Thanks for the help!

Nope. If it's working, nothing else needs to be done.
