Is this the year we finally see some new ADI eqiupment? I really have upgrade-itis. Anyone heard any rumors?

If ADI is not going to do anything and just let the current equipment die a natural death, we should lobby for some sort of "open source" format or community. Not sure where I'm going with this but it just seems like 3rd party vendors (or even knowlegable forumites) could come in and fill some of the existing gaps, such as UPB compatibility.

Cheers! Chris

It would be good of ADI gave us their intentions so we could plan accordingly. If the line is at the end of it's life, we should know that we we can move on.

The last entry in the new products section was in February 2007, and that was only a minor software change relative to daylight savings time.

I certainly hope Ocelot isn't ending. It's a great product, but time has been marching on.

2004 was THE YEAR for ADI. When you go to the Adicon website at http://www.appdig.com/adicon_new/index.htm you see that their website copyright is from 2003. These forums have been on "autopilot" since then, but there are no signs that ADI is still in business \:\(

Maybe someone going to the Branson area on vacation could drive by the ADI address and see if the lights are on or if there are any cars in the parking lot.

Applied Digital, Inc. is alive and well.

We chose not to renew the BBB Accreditation as many companies have because of the expense. During this economy, it is important to keeps costs to a minimum.

We have received FCC approval for the AT Series of home automation sensors. The AT Series allows the user to wirelessly monitor their entire house and access it via the internet from anywhere.

The AT100 is the interface between the internet and the sensors. The AT200 series are the sensor modules. We will be offering a Temperature, Humidity, Light Sensor and Contact closure modules.

The AT100 is accessed very much like a router is accessed. Simply connect the AT100 to your router, use your web browser to access the AT100. A page will appear that allows you to connect and set up your AT system.

Each AT200 comes with a unique address. Simply tell the AT100 what module number you want to assign it (1,2,3 etc.), click the Add AT200 button, then press the button on the AT200. The system will then pick up the new module. No need to auto address an entire system every time you want to add a module.

You can set up ranges so that the system will alert you via e-mail on a given condition. This will allow you to get e-mail notification when something happens such as a freezer getting warm due to a door being left open, etc.

The AT200 modules operate on two AA batteries, so no wires are necessary.

You can have up to 30 AT200 sensors in one system.

The AT system can also be controlled by an Ocelot or Leopard. The Ocelot connects to the AT100 via screw terminals. The AT100 then reads the AT200s and passes the data to the Ocelot or Leopard.

We will have pricing available early next week.

The AT Series will be sold exclusively through http://www.automationtec.com.

Kevin, that is great news and your coming on the forum and talking about this new product is appreciated (and wise).

But, there is more we need. Ocelot is long in the tooth. Technology is passing it by. Investing in more ADI technology is questionable if we don't have a feel for the future with the core product.

Is anything going to happen with Firecat and access to UPB, Z-Wave, and Insteon?

Interesting news Kevin.

So will the AT100 emulate known Ocelot module(s) or will a new module type be introduced (along with a new executive and C-Max version)?

Also, as Deane inquired, is the Firecat controller still in the works?

Right now, C-Max will only report the type and version. Eventually we will probably add the names reported as a SECU16 is.

The Firecat and UPB support are still in the works. I'll check on them and get back.
