Has anyone played around with hooking up the SECU-16IR directly to the S-link/Control-S input of a Sony device?

The next question is having a utility to convert any IR driver into Control-S. I understand that the Crestron DEAL software has such a utility.

Long shot but shouting out for info

Thanks

John

Directly connecting a SECU16IR output to another device might (if you're lucky) work, but chances are it won't. You would probably need to make some kind of interfacing circuit in order to make this work. Knowing the signal level and polarity can help in determining this.
