This is probably already documented somewhere but I couldn't find it. CMAX 2.0: If in a program you insert a line after a 'THEN' statement to add a 'SKIP' command, the resulting dialog box preselects the 'THEN' clause (presumably due to the previous line but maybe not). If you choose SKIP from the dropdown list box to specify adding a 'THEN SKIP' clause, the editor actually enters 'IF SKIP'. If you reselect the 'THEN' from the left list box, the 'IF' it entered is replaced by the 'THEN SKIP' you wanted in the first place.

Yes, you're better off always selecting the THEN (or whatever) from the list every time after inserting a line, even if THEN is already being displayed.
