As I understand, Param #22 controls which variables are volatile and not volatile.

What about other things: IR codes, Downloaded Program.

In other words, apart from the variables under influence of Param #22, what else needs to be downloaded after a power cycle of the Ocelot?

The C-Max program, IR codes, ASCII strings, etc are all stored in flash memory, so these are not lost after a power failure. Volatile variables get reset to 0 as well as all timers (ie: they are all stopped). The battery keeps the time of day clock running as well as hold the non-volatile variables. The X10 status table also assumes that all devices are OFF whenever the unit is powered up.
