It seems that IR Max wants to save files with .lir extension, while CMax wants to use .ir for download of IR files to the controller.

I suppose I'm missing something very basic here...

I don't know where you're seeing this .ir extension... When you go into the Infra-Red utilities and select Download IR file to Controller, the file browser is looking for a .lir extension.

Thanks Guy - I've emailed you separately a .tiff screen image showing CMax asking to open an ir file, with the File Type identified as (*.ir).

FYI - I do NOT have the Ocelot attached (it's arriving soon), but as I was playing with the IR utilities I tried this and hit this spot. Perhaps that's the issue...

Thoughts?

Interesting, I also get that .ir extension when I bring up the same menu with no controller attached...
