If you think that this is the problem, try adjusting the code length slightly with IR-Max. Try it with one code first.

Another update... Bursting the same code 4x in a row works. Seems that the ocelot does NOT produce the same durations in each burst. Duration seems to be extended on each sequential burst. Must be a processor limitation OR are the three ocelots I have just a defective lot?

Sometimes, certain devices look for a number of repeats. In my own case, I have several Sony devices and I obtained some very useful discrete on/off and input selection codes from Remotecentral, but I needed to put in 4 repeats of the code (using IR-Max) to get them to be accepted by the devices.

Last update... I got it to work. Two mods were required.

1) Use low power IR blaster. OR put a 20K resistor in-line with stripped side of high power IR blaster. NOTE: a Low power Xantech 283M or 286M worked unmodified.

2) My primary test was the OK button. It appears that the Oclelot recorded 5 different patterns when I learned the remote for OK. Only 1 of the 5 worked. Secondly, that pattern had to be sent at least 2x for the STB to acknowledge it. I used IR_Max to edit the file. A real pain, but it FINALLY worked.

Hello UverseJerry... I am having the same problem with my Uverse remote. Spent a long tedious couple of hours compiling all of the Pronto Uverse codes (MakeHex) and converted with IRMAX to a "NO JOY" result...

Since you got it working can you share your .lir with me? Much appreciated.

Regards,
Todd

Did you ever get the uverse working and maybe an actual working LIR file?

Been using the ocelot for almost 10yrs now but I am really tired of messing with the uverse remote with this thing.

Any help would be appreciated. :-)

Todd
