Made some of Guy's ir blasters and they work great. My first electronics project and it was really fun. Now I am looking for more stuff to make like a phone in use relay. Here are some photos of what they look like:

The second one is a six channel ir blaster and I added a led in so I can make it easy to troubleshoot. On all designs I added a aditional irled because two is better than one. I get a range of about 10 feet out of it and is better than any stick on emmitter that I have tried.
