I am learning IR codes from different devices and I have them under different file names. How can I get them all into the ocelot? I wonder if it erases it's current IR memory when I download a different file?

Yes, downloading a new IR file to the controller overwrites any previous memory contents. You need to make one "master" file from the various IR files that you have created. The IR-Max utility is great for doing this. You can download IR-Max and the manual from links given here:
