Hi Don,
Any specific model numbers? There seems to be quite a range, it's late here so I haven't looked at the spec sheets in detail but the pricing is up to 150 USD so bit expensive to make a mistake if it's not obvious
I just got the 2 line 16 digit display from jameco (good service)for $51. Works real well and connects directly to a serial bobcat. I was thinking about adding one or two more since they can be chained together.

hey don, i bought a orbital matrix lcd model 2041 awhile ago. reading your post reminded be about it. i am interested in how you did it. can,t get mine to work with bobcat-a. tia edr
For anyone interested in a display, I got a 4 line 20 character device - K107 from http://www.wulfden.org It works pretty well. Direct connect to bobcat. Logic to transmit requires a delay after each send of about 1 sec. Longer for some commands. Aside from that it works fine.
