Thought you all might get a kick out of this:
http://james.lipsit.com/Computer_room_control.htm
Be sure to turn the light OFF when you are done.
This shows my Ocelot and ADICON modules. I am usually so excited just to get this stuff working that I never bother to make it all look pretty.
BTW: When you turn on the light the HOUSE announces: "Some CRaZy Bastard just activated the computer room light!"
Thankfully it only says this ONCE regardless of how many times you turn the light on and off.
Have Fun!

I'm using Mozilla 1.3 and it doesn't work for me. I can see the controls for the camera and the light but no picture. Do I need to enable Java? I have it disabled to cut back on those blasted Popup Ads!

Did you turn the light on? If the light is off, the picture is black.

I had to turn the light OFF to turn it back ON again .
OFF TOPIC: Stephen, with Mozilla 1.3, you now have pop-up protection. Go into Edit -> Preferences, and it's either under Security or Advanced or something. It says 'Pop-Ups'. You have to choose disable, and then go to 'Exceptions'. CLEAR THEM ALL .
It works WONDERFULLY. I haven't seen a pop-up in months!!!
This applies to Netscape 7.02 as well!!!

It works. I had Java disabled. I've also upgraded to Firebird (Mozilla Release 1.6) and can see the Camera. I noticed the light was out but I could still see, turned on the light and for a short second had TOO much light but then I thought I noticed your blinds automatically closing? So I turned off the light and sure enough, I watched them open! Or am I imagining things as your camera adjusted to the new light level?

Yes I have DSL.
Yes the camera does adjust to the new light level one the light is turned on. No automatic shades.
You may have to first turn the light OFF then ON to get the light to come ON. This is because I have a timer that shuts the light off after about 20 minutes if someone left the light on. (But doesn't change the state of the trigger relay.)
Make sure you move the camera to see my Ocelot and adicon modules sitting on the microphone mixer.
Take Care,

I have updated this Camera with a Sony Camera!

However, my HA system is still a mess! Ha Ha. Hopefully in the next few months I will put this all in a RACK!
You need to allow JAVA to view...
