Gazou Gazou newbie Registered: 07/04/04 Posts: 20 Loc: Laval	Hi there I have configured my Ocelot/Homeseer via the Homeseer IR menu to learn my AC / Electric Draps / TV SwitchBox. My Windows system crash, I have backup my homeseer XML files, but after reformat et re-install.... Everything was there EXCEPT my IR configuration.... All my commands were lost. I had to learn them again. Question 1 : Where are those configuration stored at??? Question 2 : How can I Backup them ( In case ). Thanks Luc

Guy Lavoie Guy Lavoie Beyond All Hope Registered: 12/21/02 Posts: 6401 Loc: Montreal, QC, Canada	No matter what happens to you PC, the actual learned IR codes always stay stored in the Ocelot, in non-voltile flash memory. They can also be backed up to a disk file using the C-Max IR utilities. Your problem, however, is probably the fact that Homeseer builds up a list of the IR codes at the same time that you learn the codes one by one through Homeseer. This is probably the list that got lost with your PC's crash. I'm not a Homeseer user myself so I'm only guessing at some of this. If that was the problem, then you need to find a way to back up that list so that if you reinstall Homeseer after a crash, you can then tell it what the IR codes were for each location. _________________________ "If you don't know what you're doing, do it neatly..."

Gazou Gazou newbie Registered: 07/04/04 Posts: 20 Loc: Laval	Merci Guy C'étais très rapide comme réponse. Je vais vérifier, mais cela a bien du sens.... J'ai commandé un SECU-16I depuis janvier et mon fournisseur ne l'a pas recu encore... Y a t il des délai dans la production???? Merci

D'ou a tu commandé le SECU16I? En passant, j'habite aussi a Laval, dans Vimont. Ou est tu? Finally, it would be a good idea to consult the people at Homeseer to find out where that list of IR codes is stored, so that other Homeseer users reading this can also back theirs up. _________________________ "If you don't know what you're doing, do it neatly..."
