Im having difficulty with icons.
I have downloaded the ones from this forum, allocated them in System Map, and allocated them in the touch-screen setup on buttons.
On reboot of leo, there is either a small square where the button was, or the full button minus its screen text, according to whether the show boarder is selected or not.

Ive tried downloading the entire code, touchscreen, and Icons, as well as doing each one separately, with no luck.

Any ideas?

When you download the icons to the Leopard, do you see status messages on the left of the controller access screen? You should see messages indicating the starting address offset (first one is at 1200) and size of each icon.

Not really sure what went wrong, I had saved Icons from Web, into Desktop folder that contained other stuff, I then allocated in the usual way, but no joy. To save confusion, I then saved Icons in their own folder, and re allocated them in Sys Map, and all is well!

Not sure why, seems Icons dont like sharing folders!

Thanks, Guy, I didnt realise, that the Icons appear in the "Download" dialog box in programming screen.

One thing to remember about icon files: when you browse for your bitmap files in the system map editor and select a file, it copies the file from wherever it is to the project directory and downloads them to the Leopard from there. This is important to remember if you decide to edit your icons and reload them...edit the icon files that are in the project directory! If you edit the ones that you browsed to originally and then just download the icons in C-Max, you'll wonder why the changes didn't "work"!
